National Junior Art Honor Society » Home


National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) is a service organization with a primary goal of beautifying and creating art awareness to the school. The members are required to get 6 service hours and must obtain all of them in order to attend the end of the year field trip. Listed below is a timeline of important dates for NJAHS for the 2016-2017 school year.


Application Timeline:


  • August 30th – NJAHS Interest Meeting (during art class)
  • August 31st – Students receive application & essay prompt
  • September 7th – NJAHS Application and Essay due by 3:15
  • September 8th –  Members for the 2016-2017 school year will be announced
  • September 15th – Members must pay $8.00 in dues
  • October 25th – NJAHS Induction Ceremony at 6:30



Members from last school year on our field trip to the Dallas Museum of Art! We had a blast!

Be sure to have at least 3 service hours completed before Christmas break!
All members must have 6 service hours completed by the end of the year in order to attend the NJAHS Field Trip!
