Elkhart Middle School Band

January/February Newsletter

We are very proud of all of our students who auditioned, and students who earned a chair in the Region 8 Band. Congratulations to those students! The Region 8 Clinic/Concert will be Saturday, January 17th. Please see the itinerary on the home page for that event. Parents, the concerts will begin at 6:30pm at Groesbeck High School, and you may sign out your child following the concert. You won't want to miss these concerts! 

Our 7th and 8th Grade Band students are currently working to prepare for our next event, Solo/Ensemble. This is a great event for students to get some experience playing for a judge, and they will get some sweet comments/feedback on their performance. This event is scheduled for, Friday, February 6. More details will be sent home as we get closer to that date. Please keep an eye on the Home Page for an updated itinerary for this event.

Mark your calendars.... Please check the Calendar of Events page for upcoming dates for our Spring contests and Spring Concert for all of our bands. This is an exciting time of year for our students.
