Elkhart Middle School Band

March/April Newsletter

We are gearing up for Spring Break after next week. We are all ready for a break! However, I do want to remind everyone that it is a good idea to take instruments home and play some music over the break. 

The Middle School Bands are preparing for their final performances at the end of the semester. They are working hard on their music. It's going to be a great performance! The 7th and 8th Grade Band will be performing at Soundpost Music Festival on May 12th,  and Beginner Band is preparing for their contest, Rose City Music Festival on May 7th. Please check the Home Page of the MS Band Website for an itinerary for each event. This information will also be sent out through Parent Square. 

The students must be UIL eligible in order to participate in these contests. 

Also, please mark your calendars for our Annual Spring Concert on April 23rd in the EHS Gym at 7pm. We hope to see you there!
